On June 27, Avaco announced that it has signed a contract with Chengdu BOE Display Technology Co., Ltd. of China to supply deposition equipment for the mass production of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels. The contract is valid until January 31, 2026. For reasons of managerial confidentiality, the contract’s value has not been disclosed.

In April last year, Avaco was selected as the supplier of OLED deposition logistics equipment for BOE’s 8.6-generation (2,290 mm × 2,620 mm) OLED panel production base being built in Sichuan Province, China.
OLED deposition process equipment protects the mask and substrate during OLED deposition and serves to integrate the process steps. By precisely controlling substrate positioning, maintaining optimal temperature and humidity, and sustaining a vacuum environment, it minimizes contact with foreign particles and enhances the precision of organic material deposition, making it an indispensable component.
Abaco expects to ramp up full-scale mass production and begin initial deliveries in the second half of the year.
A company spokesperson stated that this supply contract represents the largest single order in Abaco’s history since its founding. Abaco is the only company in South Korea capable of mass-producing this equipment, and its technology has been recognized domestically as well.
